Hi.

This is something of an experiment.

What we're hoping for is to create an online community for people like you to share sightings, pictures and insights into the algae blooms infecting Florida Bay and other locales around the state.

Up there at the top of the screen, next to "calendar", is the gallery function where theoretically you can upload your pictures. There's also a way to do it when making posts. Hopefully it's all pretty self explanatory. We'll see.

Please take a wander around the site. As you'll see, it's a little bereft of content at the moment. That's where you come in. Post something. And, in a perfect world, tell a friend. The goal is to create a user-generated clearinghouse of information with which to galvanize those of us who care about Florida's littoral ecosystems into action. But again, that's where you come in.
